Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take digital x-rays for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back)teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth. In many cases, we will also take digital photographs of your mouth, so you can see what condition your teeth are in, in addition to getting you involved with your own treatment recommendations.
Lumismile
Each patient will get to experience a complimentary lumismile, which involves a virtual before and after photograph of your smile with the lumineer products in your mouth. This will give each patient a preview of what their mouth could look like with a lumineer smile makeover.
Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power Bleaching system (ZOOM) will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.
Crowns
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns (empressed material) on the anterior teeth and for most posterior teeth. As a CEREC provider, the great majority of the crowns are designed and made in the office utilizing the CEREC technology. Using this technique, we are able to deliver the crowns the very same appointment, eliminating the need for a second return appointment. There is also no more need for a temporary crown, since the final crown is delivered the same day. We have also eliminated the need for taking impressions, as the crowns are designed digitally.
Lumineers
In just two or three dental visits, special thin laminates, called lumineers can correct discolored, worn down, cracked and chipped teeth. Lumineers are usually the preferred choice for our porcelain veneers. As a certified lumineers dentist, Dr. Frimtzis is able to restore a beautiful smile without removing sensitive tooth structure, wearing temporaries, or using a local anesthetic. The lumineers are made with a specially-patented porcelain, that has been in use for over twenty years. It allows the lumineers to be made ultra-thin, about the thickness of a contact lens.
Fillings
Tooth-colored fillings that are light-cured to match your teeth. These are made from a bonded composite material.
Root Canals
We perform root canals on anterior and premolar teeth.
Periodontal Treatment
You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic)
Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials
Snap-On Smiles
This new revolutionary product from the Den-Mat Dental Company is changing the world of cosmetic dentistry. It consists of a perfectly aligned arch of teeth(you pick the color and shape of the teeth) that literally snap-over your existing teeth. There is no adhesive or glue involved. They are made of a specially-designed acetyl-resin, the same material that artificial hip replacements are made from. They are very light and comfortable to wear. We can replace broken and missing teeth, providing a "Hollywood smile" without even preparing any of the teeth. It can even replace uncomfortable partial dentures with this appliance, as patients can eat and speak comfortably, with minimal movement of the appliance, especially when compared to the conventional partial denture.
